proLock with IP-interface
About the module IP which is attached on the basic module of proLock, the functionality can be extended around an access IP. Additional an V24 interface is on these sub-module for administration. The following functional extensions for proLock are now availeable.
If the module is connected to the LAN, the access authorization can be changed from the distance. Moreover a connection, who is protected by a 2-stage authentication process (1. test of the transmit authorization of the IP address, 2. test of the access authorization about password) is done to the IP. After successful authentication the new access authorization will transfer in encoded form. The connection will be disconnected after reception directly. The password to the authentication changes after every successful execution automatically without other user's input. With unauthorized attempt the system is automatically closed. Then it is possible to switch the module in defined exit condition directly at the spot or alternatively from the distance. Therefore an addition program must be started in the IP module to open the process.
If the module is connected to the LAN, a test of the access authorization is possible by an external application. This can be, e.g., an external data bank which administers the access authorization. Furthermore other identification procedures can be used about this way, e.g. biometric tests. The IP module gets from the external application the information whether the key has an access authorization and transmits this information to the proLock control device. A LED on the Sub-module indicates whether in the module the external controlling is activated.
It can be configured whether with failure of the external application should be automatically switched to the internal administration. Furthermore it is to be realized with the external controlling a so named emergency opening. Herewith the access authorization can if necessary completely out of force

If the module is connected to the LAN, all closing and configuration changes can be taken down. Then these protocols will transfer in an external data bank.
